Sylvia launches White Rock's first Creative Writing Program Spring, 2009

Co-presenter and manuscript evaluator, with author, Anthony Dalton, at the Powell River Writers’ Festival.

Developed and facilitated a poetry writing workshop for families, while in character of Mother Nature, in relation to the photography exhibition, Earth Matters, at the Surrey Art Gallery.

Short-listed for the CBC National Literary Awards for my creative non-fiction short story “The Great Grey Beast”.
