I’m trained both technically and in the arts. My background in engineering design helped me to develop structure and a balanced approach. Working in the health care field, in counselling, therapy, and teaching brings a depth of understanding, insight and humanity to my communications. My varied professional background has strengthened my belief that there is nothing that cannot be understood with the proper approach. Though arts are my ‘oxygen’, I’ve developed the mind of an engineer and the heart of an artist, enabling me to help bring people’s thoughts, information, and passion into the world in a way that is accessible to others. And stories are a perfect way to understand the human experience. From the drawings on cave walls to the work we now do on computers, humans are compelled to share experiences in story form.
